The Director of Faculty Development provides strategic and operational direction to implement a comprehensive, integrated, and sustainable faculty development program. Advances the professional development of faculty by providing a systematic structure to develop and recognize efforts in teaching assessment and education. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a virtual online platform that will serve as a single portal through which all faculty can access, review, utilize and document their educational development activities, and; fostering networking opportunities to grow an inter-professional community of educators. Incorporates outcomes-based education in graduate medical education training programs for faculty and residents. Assesses and measures the achievements of educational outcomes as identified in the ACGME common and specialty/subspecialty-specific program requirements. Educational Requirements: PhD in adult education, education leadership or other relevant field. Doctor of Education (EdD) Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Medical Degree (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

Minimum Experience: 10-15 years of work experience as an educator for adult learners or in a position responsible for developing, evaluating, and facilitating learning programs in a healthcare or academic setting.
