Job Summary: The Director Interprofessional Well-Being will provide professional expertise and leadership to direct and oversee the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of all aspects of a collaborative, educational and integrative model for well-being for the interprofessional healthcare team members of JPS Health Network. The Director will explore and address multiple aspects of individual and health system well-being and create institutional systemic solutions and processes to foster a collective culture of well-being.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

- Provides professional expertise for well-being curriculum design, program evaluation, and instructional methods.

- Directs and oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of an ongoing institutional interprofessional well-being program to support well-being at the individual and system level.

- Incorporates the ACGME physician well-being requirements and key support areas (resources, education, influence, research, and collaboration) into the clinical learning and work environment to ensure compliance and promote all aspects of well-being, engagement, and resilience and combat burnout.

- Fosters a learning and work environment with a culture of respect and accountability for well-being aligned with quality and patient safety initiatives.

- Monitors the effectiveness of well-being initiatives and activities for the system and clinical care team.

- Conducts comprehensive assessments of current institutional and departmental models of well-being, policies and resources.

- Teaches well-being lectures, seminars, and training sessions to facilitate resident, faculty, and interprofessional team member development.

- Oversees administration of well-being surveys.

- Provides periodic reports and updates regarding institutional well-being programs and outcomes for senior leadership and accreditation agencies.

- Works collaboratively with our employee assistance program (EAP) and other behavioral health programs to facilitate access to clinical health psychology services, including consultation, therapeutic treatment, and brief assessment.

- Participates in and/or lead committees related to well-being, including, but not limited to the Graduate Medical Education Well-Being Subcommittee.

- Facilitates wellness group activities in the educational programs.

- Participates in community development programs addressing well-being.

- Engages in personal scholarship (e.g., dissemination of work through publications, presentations, and may include research).

- Collaborates with the Executive Director of Academic Affairs, manages all components of GME well-being programs including budget, metrics, and program development.

- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

Required Qualifications:

- Ph.D. or PsyD in psychology, marriage & family therapy, or in a related field of study from an accredited college or university.

- 3 years of experience as a people leader in healthcare and/or education.
