Required Qualifications:
- Education: MD, EdD or PhD
- Candidate must be licensed in Tennessee or eligible for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in Graduate Medical Education such as a former DIO or Assistant DIO, 5 or more years as a Program Director of an ACGME-accredited program, and training in medical
education related to faculty development.
- Adept communication, leadership, and management skills as required for membership on the Executive Leadership team.
- Commitment to patient and team-centered medicine and education.
- High emotional intelligence and crucial conversation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to process improvement and a desire to be involved in Graduate Medical Education at both regional and national levels.
- Must have a creative mindset that can find novel ways to meet program needs and support program directors in optimizing the training of future physicians.
