The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Texas A&M College of Medicine is seeking a Psychiatry Residency Program Director to serve as the founding leader of a newly-developed residency program within the Shannon Health System in San Angelo, TX.

We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our mutual commitment to enhance the health and wellbeing of Texans, particularly those in San Angelo and the Concho Valley. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of educational and clinical leadership to the position while possessing a high level of professionalism, systems-based thinking, organizational, and managerial skill. Required:
- MD, DO or equivalent professional degree
- Current certification in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in medical education, academic administration, or clinical administration
- Currently clinically active

Preferred:
