1. Recruitment – assists in coordination and recruitment of medical residents
a. ERAS – reviews and evaluates applications for completeness
i. Application process and review
ii. Scheduling/coordinating interviews

iv. Enters rank order list
b. Match – performs all residency match responsibilities and corresponds with newly matched residents about requirements and process for appointment to the hospital
i. Correspond with candidates
ii. Obtain signed contracts
c. SOAP –
2. Orientation
a. Coordinate with DMC GME on-boarding activities
b. Order/assign – lab coats, jackets, pagers, badges, meal tickets
c. Hospital and department orientation
d. ACLS/BLS – maintains electronic resident demographic information ensuring current BLS/ACLS certifications or all residents
e. EMR training
f. Enter current medical licensure for all residents
3. Graduation – verifies training and processes letters of recommendation for current residents as well as past residents. Prepares correspondence relative to program.

4. Evaluations – compile reports using knowledge of residency software

10. Documentation – maintain confidential resident files and monitor records of resident attendance for all required activities, including conferences and other didactic experiences. Track work hours, resident activities and schedules. Follow-up with respective, non-compliant residents.
a. Duty hours – ensure resident completion of work hour reports per block
b. Procedure logs
c. Evaluations – monitor and document residency evaluation process
d. Conference attendance – maintain and coordinate the distribution of electronic sign-in sheets maintaining resident attendance records for all conferences, lectures series, and Grand Rounds.
