Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic Emergency Medicine Program Director looking to lead the development and startup of a new Emergency Medicine Graduate Medical Education Residency program.

Interested candidates should be well-versed in the ACGME specialty-specific accreditation requirements for EM, as well experienced in the teaching of medical students and residents.

- Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Must include specialty expertise and at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience
- Must be a core physician faculty member
- Be willing to combine Administrative and Diagnostic (teaching) Responsibilities (50/50)
- Have strong administrative and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must include demonstrated experience in a leadership role
- Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations are highly encouraged to apply....  More >><< Less
