Summary:
With oversight and direction from the administrative director of graduate medical education and in close collaboration with the program director, the program administrator is responsible for the operational management of the training program. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies and health system/hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

Detailed responsibilities:
• Provide overall program management of the residency program. Meet regularly with the administrative director of medical education and the program director concerning program management issues and activities and the status of special projects.
• Interpret and apply ACGME, other national accrediting agencies, and hospital policies to support all necessary compliance.
• Act as a liaison among internal constituents (e.g., between residents and hospital administration, with other GME program coordinators) and act as a resource for residents.
• Maintain and oversee the recruitment process during the recruitment season (e.g., maintain the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) database, coordinate resident applicant interviews, and all Match responsibilities)....  More >><< Less
