In support of the Pediatric Fellowship Programs, the Administrative Program Coordinator II will provide direction, leadership and day-to-day management of educational and departmental activities to include administrative support of Fellowship Directors. Provides educational coordination between attending physicians, residents, medical students and institutional and regulatory administrative offices. Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and
problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the department and of the larger institution in organizing and independently prioritizing work, establishing
procedures and systems, and ensuring orderly and timely work flow. Coordinates the recruitment, on boarding, and orientation of all fellow trainees to the organization and each department. Ensure the completion of all ACGME requirements and oversee the accreditation and site visits of each program. Maintain web-based ACGME accreditation data and surveys for Graduate Medical Education Office. Maintain GME track. Use knowledge of the Medhub electronic evaluation system to schedule and track monthly evaluations, work hours, and fellow data. Maintains/coordinates a schedule for the fellows and visitors on rotation and ensures their attendance to
clinics/conferences/lectures. Documentation and credentialing for all graduate medical education training conducted within the division, including initiation and writing credentialing documents as required and completion of credentialing forms for signature by appropriate medical staff; maintenance of all fellow personnel records, including confidential evaluation and counseling records. Develops new procedures in response to new or revised policies issued by governing agencies or program director. Provides administrative support to the Program Directors, including scheduling of meetings, preparation of agendas, recording and maintaining meeting minutes, development of reports and provision of data to the GME Office. Implementation of policies developed by the GMEC. Assists the senior fellow in the coordination of the fellows' monthly schedule for service, clinics, procedures, electives, vacations, seminars.
