The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Palliative Care Division is seeking a full time BE/BC pediatric palliative care physician to join our faculty. The physician will provide palliative care consultation for children at our 259-bed teaching hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best
Children’s Hospital in multiple pediatric specialties. Primary responsibilities include providing direct patient care along with oversight of other physicians, and nurse practitioners. The provider will join an established program with opportunities for continued program development, research, QI and teaching. The team practices in all inpatient units across Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital including NICU, PICU, CVICU, medical/surgical units, cancer institute and CDH Units. We train residents and fellows within our health system including our own ACGME accredited Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. Academic/teaching opportunities are available including a leadership position as Associate Program Director of the Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. Qualified candidates may be eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (academic rank is open and commensurate with experience).
