Implements the ACGME’s Accreditation System; prepares for and follows up on the institutional Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) visits. Develops and implements processes for data collection, management, and dissemination to meet institutional and programmatic regulatory responsibilities.
Responsibilities: A listing of the key responsibilities
1. Partners in the ongoing development, selection,
facilitation, and evaluation of all aspects of accreditation related to Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs.
2. Administers needs assessments and evaluation of program. Gathers and disseminates data needed by the Graduate Medical Education Council (GMEC) and its sub-committees for oversight and regulatory responsibilities.
3. Ensures the accuracy of the data needed and generates Institutional and Program Score Cards and Dashboards. Participates on various project teams to develop new initiatives and programs aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the GME program.
4. Assists in planning and implementing in-service trainings for program leadership
5. Uses research and industry best practices to influence innovative solutions.
6. Uses data and analysis to inform decisions regarding GME program accreditation.
7. Mentors, develops, manages performance, and approves time off for junior colleagues.
