Family Medicine Residency Program Director

With more than 300 licensed beds, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization serving the health care needs of Hot Springs, AR, and surrounding communities. CHI is developing Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs to begin training residents in 2021.
The Family Medicine Residency Program Director
is responsible for the leadership, development, operation, administration, and accountability of the Family Medicine Residency Program. The Program Director develops and executes the overall strategy for the program that will result in the successful training of compassionate, competent, and professional physicians with a reputation for excellence. The Program Director must administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the competency areas of the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
Have current medical licensure.
Have current certification by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Have clinical and educational experience, which includes five years clinical experience in family medicine, with two years as a core faculty member in an ACGME or American Osteopathic Association-accredited family medicine program.
Dedicate no less than
28 hours per week to administrative and educational activities of the family medicine program.
Maintain clinical skills by providing direct patient care.
