Reporting to the Administrative Director for Medical Education (ADME), the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Accreditation Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating and responding to initiatives related to the accreditation programs for residencies and fellowship programs. Works under minimal supervision.
The GME Accreditation Coordinator must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the medical education office, program departments, and of the system and hospital in organizing and independently prioritizing work, establishing/improving procedures and systems and ensuring orderly and timely work flow; maintains strict privacy in handling large amounts of confidential information....  More >><< Less

Requires Bachelor's degree in healthcare, education, business or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Requires at least 3 years recent progressive responsibility in an educational or medical environment.
Medical education experience preferred.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize work, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong data collection and entry ability with attention to detail; requires high level of accuracy.
