Description:  

Under limited direction from the Director for Medical Education and Program Director, the Manager, Community of Practice (CoP) Education Programs is responsible for managing the day to day operations of assigned Graduate Medical Education program(s) and management of assigned Community of Practice, including staff, resources and work efficiencies. This individual is responsible for ensuring smooth flow of planning, preparation and execution of activities related to maintaining program accreditation, residency recruitment, resident education and wellness. The Manager, CoP Education Programs is a primary resource for learners, faculty and administrative staff and functions as institutional liaison between program and regulatory administrative offices. This position reports directly to the Director for Medical Education and is directly accountable to his/her respective program director(s).

 
 
Requirements:  
Required Minimum
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


1.Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years experience in a relevant administrative role or comparable relevant work experience in an administrative role both with demonstrated progressive responsibility preferably in a health care or education setting.
2.Minimum of 2 years directly supervising staff.
3.Proficiency in and ability to integrate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web-based applications.
4.Experience working in a dynamic environment requiring efficient organization of complex detail; high level interpersonal and communication skills with a wide range of individuals and cultures.
5.Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as a member of a team.
6.Work experience in project management; or demonstrated skills with project management.
7.Demonstrated ability to problem solve and make independent decisions based on sound judgment and discretion while under pressure.
