Job Summary: With oversight and direction from the Chief Academic Officer (CAO)/Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Education specialist (Medical Educator) provides technical, advisory and consultative services to the Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs related to assessment, education, coaching, remediation and mentoring of residents/fellows and faculty development. The Education Specialist will also be responsible for special projects as requested by the CAO/DIO. Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in education, and/or other health related field

Minimum of 2 years of education and/or instructional experience, preferably in a healthcare setting


Preferred Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in education, health-care or other closely related field

Minimum of 3-5 years of education and/or instructional experience, preferably in a healthcare setting

1-3 years in healthcare simulation education, preferably at the undergraduate or graduate medical education level

Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE)


Language Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Excellent presentation skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality

Ability to efficiently and accurately manage multiple tasks and projects
