Manager, GME Education and Accreditation
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager in Graduate Medical Education to supervise and lead the GME Education and Accreditation Team in GME Administration. This manager will collaborate with the DIO and the Director to provide leadership in GME for the UW Health and School of Medicine and Public Health
academic medical center. Primary responsibilities include preparing the institution for the ACGME Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) visit and process; providing oversight and expert consultation for ACGME institutional and program accreditation requirements and processes; working with content experts to oversee and develop core curriculum offerings for GME programs and institutional orientation; and directing and overseeing the collection of data and evaluative measures to demonstrate compliance with ACGME and other regulatory requirements.
Minimum - Master’s Degree in Curriculum/Instruction, Education, Health Care or Quality Management. Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Master’s Degree
Minimum - 3-5 years of experience in teaching, directing, or managing an education program within a university or a teaching hospital setting.
Preferred - Experience in administration of an ACGME accredited residency program within a complex medical school or teaching hospital setting
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Demonstrated excellence and innovation in graduate medical education GME (preferred) or other educational programming.
Strong project management skills, successful team lead.
Working knowledge of emerging health care, regulatory, workforce and educational trends that may impact graduate medical education.
Successful track record of leadership in educational programming
