The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine (ESFCOM) at Washington State University is embarking on the accreditation and development of a next generation medical school designed to train students to be physician leaders, who innovate, adapt and
discover in an ever changing healthcare landscape. The School is now inviting applications for the position of Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) who will join the Office of Graduate Medical Education in leading the college into the future.
The Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) reports to the Associate Dean for GME and CME on all matters pertaining to graduate medical education and continuing medical education. S/he is responsible for assisting in the establishment and overseeing the accreditation of residency and fellowship programs at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine (ESFCOM). S/he will collaborate in developing the initial residency programs in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements. S/he is also responsible for collaborating in the establishment and accreditation of the continuing medical education program and the accreditation process through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) at ESFCOM.
