The faculty is responsible for education, patient care, service and research/scholarly activity.

Essential Functions
Education
* Responsible for 4 year electives
and sub-internships
* Contributes to the development of family medicine electives
* Assists with Family Medicine Clerkship
* Teaches first and second year medical students
* Assists with activities that support department-teaching functions including but not limited to standardized patient monitoring, academic detailing, teaching clinical skills, problem-based and CBCL learning sessions, lectures, etc.
* Assists with residency lectures, small group sessions and skills based teaching (e.g. ACLS, ALSO, etc.)
Medical
* 2-5 half-days per week of patient care and/or residency teaching supervision
* Periodically supervise medical students at JayDoc Community Clinic
Research/Scholarly Activity
* Participate with other faculty in development of scholarly activity and research
Service
