Position Summary

On a day-to-day basis, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Senior Associate Dean & Designated Institutional Official for Graduate Medical Education and the Assistant Deans for Graduate Medical Education. In providing administrative support for GME Office initiatives to develop physicians and faculty as educators, researchers, and clinicians, it will be necessary to interact with medical school deans, hospital administrators, faculty members, program directors, residents and fellows, and training program staff. The Operations Coordinator will collaborate with and report directly to the Director of GME Operations and Project Management as a member of the GME Operations team. In this position, you will:
• manage daily schedule to include coordinating meetings (room reservations, meeting invitations, agenda, handouts, managing Audio/Visual components, refreshments)
• arrange travel and process travel reimbursements
• maintain updated Curriculum Vitae
• coordinate GME Introductions for new program directors and training program administrators
• assist Director of GME Operations and Project Management with special events and activities in support of residents and fellows

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Three years of executive level administrative experience in Graduate Medical Education or related field
• Must possess intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Imperative to maintain high level of confidentiality
• Provide excellent customer service to GME stakeholders in a polite and professional manner
• Ability to identify areas for process improvement
• Commitment to personal professional development

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable with accessing web-based systems including, but not limited to MedHub
