RECRUITING GUIDELINES
Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a Certificate of Proficiency issued by the California State Board of Education, or attainment of a satisfactory score on a G.E.D. test.
Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible, broad, and varied clerical experience, at least one year of which includes
medical office experience in an acute care hospital or healthcare agency. Experience with a Credentialing Database software program strongly preferred.
Highly Desired: Experience coordinating credentialing activities for medical students or resident physicians. Knowledge of compliance requirements with regulatory and accrediting agencies such as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Bachelor's degree with major coursework in business/public administration or related field.
Desired: Experience developing/writing polices and preparing budgets.
