Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Graduate Medical Education and Physician Workforce Policy, the Project Manager, Graduate Medical Education will be responsible for implementing graduate medical education (GME) and physician workforce initiatives that will benefit Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) member teaching hospitals. This work includes project management and data analysis in the areas of residency program accreditation, teaching hospital policy, state and national physician workforce, resident/physician wellness and other areas as defined by the AVP. The Project Manager will assist the AVP with large-scale programming, developing material for publications, creating presentations using data, and supporting various workgroups.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify sources of data and conduct research and analysis on GME and physician workforce.
Support project to establish innovative collaborative relationships between residency programs and community-based organizations and other grant-funded projects as needed.
Organize and support member educational events and regularly scheduled workgroups.
Assist in development of variety of publications.

Bachelors’ Degree required.
3+ years of experience working in a public policy, health care, or medical education environment.
Experience in project management and meeting multiple deadlines.
Experience in drafting high-level presentations, memoranda, and other written material.
Knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, including Excel (VLookup’s and Pivot Tables Preferred).
Ability to conduct data analysis, including identifying trends and patterns.
Strong writing skills.
