Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Minimum two years’ experience in graduate medical education or equivalent administrative experience in healthcare management.
Organizational and office procedural skills to coordinate many work assignment responsibilities quickly and accurately with pressure of deadlines; to work with confidential material and to exercise sound judgment in protecting information.
Knowledge
of and ability to apply Scripps policies and procedures and to work within the Scripps system to accomplish the Department’s goals and the Scripps mission.
Moderate to advanced computer skills.
Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally with persons not only within the Scripps system but with applicants to the programs, with personnel from state and national governing and oversight bodies, and with vendors.
Represent the training programs at local, regional, and national meetings and other events.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills to document and report effectively and clearly. Analytical skills to provide accurate reports and recommendations.
Abilities in sound decision-making, problem-solving, priority-setting, and supervising.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
Self-motived individual with the ability to contribute individually and as a part of a team.
