Join the Ascension Genesys Medical Education team as a Podiatry Program & Sim/Skills Lab Manager. This is a full time, hybrid position, weekdays.

The Program Manager’s leadership role is critical to the success of the program. The Program Manager partners with the Residency Director to manage all administrative aspects of the education program according to standards of the applicable accreditation agency and Ascension Genesys GME Leadership. They manage the day-to-day operations of the program and the personnel needs of the trainees. They serve as liaison between Residents, Faculty, other team and hospital staff members, and the accrediting body. The Manager spearheads the annual process of residency recruitment, program orientation, organizing and maintaining academic files, scheduling rotations, sending and promoting timely evaluations, summarizing duty hour reports, arranging and proctoring exams, preparing for annual accreditation reporting and periodic site visits, and communicating with alumni.

In conjunction with the Sim Lab Director, this manager position also coordinates the scheduling, supplies, planning activities, and workshop set up/take down for the Ascension Genesys Skills/Simulation Lab.

Education / Training:

· Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, business, or related field, or combination of education and significant medical education experience.

Work Experience:

· Minimum 2 years’ recent progressive responsibility in medical education, program administration; graduate medical education experience highly preferred.

Certification, Licensure, Registration:

· Current certification by the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) preferred.
