Phoebe Family Medicine Residency - Southwest Georgia
Phoebe Putney Health System is Southwest Georgia’s preferred career choice for family physicians (MD or DO) wanting to alleviate the primary care physician shortage while providing a rich community health and national perspective to residency training. Phoebe is seeking a BC/BE family medicine
physician to join our fully accredited Family Medicine Residency program (8 residents per class; 24 total) as Core Faculty. Led by a team of accomplished clinicians, teachers, researchers, and faculty leaders, this well-established program has strong support from the hospital and the community it serves.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

• Highest Board Pass Rates: 100% resident pass rate for the last 7 years.

• The integrated and flexible curriculum meets ACGME/RRC-FM requirements for accreditation.
• EHR Systems include: Meditech at hospital; Athena at clinic.
• Career Growth Opportunities in inpatient service, outpatient teaching, didactic, clinic, recruitment of new residents; academic protected time and half days, and other teaching opportunities.
• More Incentives: A balanced work/life schedule. $10K sign-on bonus and up to $15K in relocation assistance. PTO days, plus holidays; CME allowance of $5K; Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF); etc.

Open to MD trained or DO trained Family Medicine physicians. Inpatient experience and residency teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
