The Senior Residency Program Coordinator oversees the planning and coordination of the operational and financial activities of the residency/fellowship program. Collaborates in the development of programs goals and objectives; provides sound guidance and advice on residency/fellowship program issues.
Ensures compliance with current guidelines of the American Medical Association (AMA), Accreditation
Council for Gradual Medical Education (ACGME) and applicable specialty boards. Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the departments residency program for residents and voluntary attendings. Under the guidance of the Residency/Fellowship Program Director, ensures timely submission of completed House staff appointment applications to the medical center.
