Physician with current active clinical practice in hospice and palliative medicine
Current board-certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association in one of the primary specialties listed below
Anesthesiology
Emergency Medicine
Family Medicine
Internal Medicine
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Pediatrics
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Psychiatry and Neurology,
Radiology
Surgery
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Maryland
Eligible for unrestricted Active Medical Staff Privileges
A minimum of two years in a clinical practice of hospice and palliative medicine
Documented involvement in education and scholarly activities, which includes mentoring fellows (i.e., guiding fellows in the acquisition of competence in the clinical, teaching, research, and advocacy skills pertinent to the discipline), serving as a clinical supervisor in an inpatient or outpatient setting, developing curricula, and/or participating in didactic activities
