This role will oversee the development, application, and maintenance of certification of the residency program in compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements and the Policies and Procedures of TidalHealth. Clinically practicing physician with current board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM)
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Maryland
Eligible for unrestricted Active Medical Staff Privileges in Hematology and Medical Oncology
Administrative experience and at least three years of participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency or Hematology or Medical Oncology Fellowship required
A history of scholarly activity within the last 5 years and consistent with ACGME guidelines
