The Department of Pediatrics at NYU Langone Health and the NYU School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Residency Program Coordinator.

Reporting to the Residency Program Director and the Department Administrator the Residency Coordinator coordinates all activities and resources related to the Pediatrics Residency Program. The Residency coordinator will partner the Residency Program Director in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program and ensure compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Program Coordination: Provides administrative & logistical support to residency program leadership and chief residents. Creates, reconciles & monitors resident duty hours & work schedules within New Innovations; coordinates space for didactics and meetings; manages semi-annual resident/faculty/program evaluations. Manages coordination of resident electives in and out of the institution in addition to Program Letters of Affiliation for outside rotations. Identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies, develop & implement pragmatic solutions, improves workflow and optimize resources. Compiles & analyzes reports; maintains program manuals/documentation; assists in semi-annual data reporting for Clinical Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee. Effectively addresses problems for faculty, staff & residents; appropriately seeks input and support from subject matter experts.
• Recruitment and Selection: Administers annual residency recruitment processes. Point of contact for all applicants. Updates, produces & distributes program information; compiles applicant profiles for faculty evaluators; schedules & manages interview days; coordinates & hosts recruitment events; develops, updates & manages all relevant online program & application
• Appointments & Credentialing: Coordinates appointment/reappointment, credentialing & onboarding process for all trainees Coordinates and prepares orientation training. Resolves open issues. Assists applicants to access & use online credentialing & in-service training systems.
• Compliance: Researches and disseminates information regarding regulations & policies of various regulatory bodies including ACGME. Guides faculty, trainees & staff to ensure compliance. Ensures regulatory requirements, documentation and deadlines are met. Effective planning & response to periodic regulatory audits, reviews & RRC/ACGME reaccreditation; remediates deficiencies. Works with NYU GME office to ensure resident compliance with all hospital resident requirements & duty hour submission.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus at least two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, NEW INNOVATIONS, ACGME WebADS.
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple and competing deadlines required.
• Must be highly organized, with excellent communication and follow up skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team, with administrative, clinical research, and financial staff.
