• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the rural training track (RTT) program.
• Coordinates, collaborates, and communicates effectively with the rural training track program director for effective join program training and success.
• Provides effective leadership.
• Creates an environment for growth, progress, and excellence to faculty, residents, and staff.
• Direct administrative involvement and formal and informal relationship building with paid and volunteer faculty, staff, and community
• Local physician leadership for medical students interested in the rural training track, the resident matching process, and associated interview days.
• Ensures implementation of curriculum, local didactic program, and ongoing academic performance improvement and faculty development.
• Administrative oversight for resident evaluations, resident feedback, and program improvement between the core family medicine residency program and rural training track.
• Participation in key activities; collaborative technical assistance efforts among rural training track programs and participation in the annual Idaho rural training track summit.
• Assist in data collection on residents, the rural training track program and hospital data for resident monitoring, internal resident documentation and program accreditation.... More >><< Less
