Southeast Michigan Center for Medical Education (SEMCME) is
looking for an Executive Director (part-time position) with an advanced degree
and strong understanding of medical education to be a liaison internally
amongst member institutions and externally with local, regional and national
entities to further our mission; to enrich the delivery of healthcare through
value-added education programs for learners and faculty; and provide effective
leadership to 8 SEMCME staff.
SEMCME, established in 1974, is a non-profit consortium of 12
member hospitals, the Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Oakland
University William Beaumont School of Medicine. SEMCME, the largest community
based medical education consortium in the Midwest, enhances healthcare through
excellence and innovation in medical education to train outstanding physicians
and inspire excellent teachers.
