A unique opportunity to transform medical education in Northern Colorado as the Associate Dean of Clinical Education and GME of the University of Northern Colorado College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNC COM), a
new college at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) located in Greeley, CO.
With only 41 accredited colleges of osteopathic medicine in the United States—only six of which are at public universities—UNC-COM will become the third medical college in Colorado, alleviating the state’s shortage of physicians.
The Associate Dean of Clinical Education and GME will assist the Founding Dean in leading this not-for-profit enterprise through development, accreditation, and on to the goal of becoming a world-class center of learning and medical education.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
• UNC is currently in Applicant Status with the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation and will proceed to Candidate Status in June 2024.
• The initial class of students will matriculate in fall 2026.
• The Associate Dean is expected to be hired in spring 2024 and must be under contract prior to June 1, 2024.
