Residency and Fellowship Programs Coordinator coordinates all aspects of the Department's Residency Program and ensures compliance with the American Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) , Residency Review Committee (RRC), and American Board of Pathology (ABP) guidelines. Under the direction of the Department Chair and Residency Program Director, manages statistical
requirements of the training program, including evaluation processes. Responsible for Department of Pathology Residency and Fellowship contract and related payroll activities. Responsible for updating and maintaining integrity of information on Department's dedicated website for Residency Training.
Education
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two years progressively responsible administrative experience OR a minimum of 3 years progressively responsible administrative experience required.
Certification through the National Board for Certification of Training Administrators in Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) preferred.
Experience
Working knowledge of residency program structure and outside reviewing agency (ACGME, American Board of Pathology) requirements. Knowledge of USMLE and GME requirements for accreditation preferred. Working experience with graduate medical education related databases preferred.
