Serve as integral member of GME team overseeing a portion of residency and fellowship programs at one of the largest accredited sponsors of GME programs nationwide.
Serves as a resource and primary contact for assigned program leadership, program coordinators, faculty and trainees
Interpret and apply ACGME, other national accrediting agencies, and hospital policies to support compliance
Coordinate accreditation site visits, self-studies and special reviews for assigned programs.
Oversee program letters of agreement for trainee rotations within and outside the Mount Sinai Health System.
Monitor trainee duty hours and operative/case experience via regular development and review of data reports.
Analyze annual program evaluations (APE) and ACGME Annual Updates for assigned programs, including verification of appropriate program-level policies and procedures.
Serve as an administrative lead for the GMEC Medicine/Internal Medicine Sub-Committee.
In partnership with the House Staff Coordinator, provide oversight of House Staff appointments which include but are not limited to appointments, granting of privileging, credentialing, promotions, etc....  More >><< Less

Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent combination of education and/or experience considered.
3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in an academic setting.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to interact professionally and maintain confidentiality with broad range of leaders across the health system.
Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with careful attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines.
Strong problem solving skills, with ability to formulate practical solutions.
Ability to interpret and apply hospital, governmental and accrediting body (ACGME) policies to support compliance.
Advanced competency in a paperless computer environment and understanding of data integrity standards (MS Office Suite, Adobe Professional, document scanning/storage, web-based applications and tools, etc.); working knowledge of New Innovations Residency Management System a plus....  More >><< Less
