The Director, Medical Education is responsible for the system-wide functions of undergraduate and graduate medical education training for all campuses and facilities of Swedish Health Services.

In this position you will:
• Plan, execute and strategize in support of internal processes that result in compliance with the applicable accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Manage and deploy resources across the functional areas for effective delivery of services.
• Provide leadership and direction to the operations to assure institutional accreditation requirements are met
• Oversee central administration of fellowships, medical student and APC training relationships, and residency programs including the oversight of the CMS cost reporting and GME trainee software.

Required qualifications for this position include:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Five (5) plus years’ experience in field of medical education
• Skills in leadership, project management, and fiscal responsibility
• Applicable computer and data management skills, knowledge of GME, accreditation requirements, simulation services, technologies and applications
• Knowledge of educational theory, computer literacy in PC software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
