POSITION SUMMARY
The Residency Coordinator assists in the administration of the residency and student education programs. Duties include processing of residents, coordination and participation in resident orientation and internal functions, organizing interviews, preparation and distribution of schedules and assignments and the initiation of the change of status process for the residents.

The Residency Coordinator serves as a resource person for the residents on issues and processes regarding the US Immigration and Naturalization Service procedures and proceedings.
The Coordinator ensures the resident’s credentials comply with NJ State regulations and guides the resident through the application process for a NJ State Training Permit.

The Residency Coordinator performs general office duties and coordinates department activities according to Medical Center standards and procedures that result in efficient operation of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: NA

EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years prior work experience with related office/clerical experience required, preferably within the medical field. Basic computer skills and knowledge of software required
